Nice to Meet You!
We are Angie Martin and Marc Mathy, owners of Hindsight Farm. We are passionate about naturally-grown diversified vegetables and herbs.

We are focused on producing healthy food in the most sustainable way possible.

We first met at the Ann Arbor Farmer’s market at the Frog Holler Organic Farm stall in 2016. We quickly found we had a love of food and farming and shared the same dream of owning a farm. Combined, we have over 11 seasons of organic vegetable production experience.

We grow nutrient-dense vegetables and healthy soil.

We're committed to using low-waste techniques, planting heirloom and open-pollinated varieties, saving seed, and fostering healthy soil through compost and minimal tillage techniques. We reuse building materials, growing materials, and reduce plastic packaging at every opportunity. We are always striving to improve the ways we farm, learning from the past and discovering better methods for the future.
Hindsight Farm would not exist without Malaika and Matthew of Whitney Farmstead. Our partnership started in the summer of 2018 as a humble garden plot on their land. We are excited to contribute to the Whitney farmstand by adding vegetables to their heritage beef, pork, lamb and chicken, and maple syrup production.
Hindsight Farm is currently being hosted by Carole Caplan-Sosin at The Farm on Jennings. This magical spot is located down the road from our house and Whitney Farmstead. Carole grows herbs, some vegetables and we are collaborating on growing some beautiful flowers! By teaming up with our neighbors, we believe that we can create a bountiful and supportive community.
